"Here's wishing u eternal happiness....."

"Smile, be happy....."

"Happy new year/birthday/anniversary....."

These are just some of the many "happy" statements that we make in our everyday lives.

Many a times, do we really mean what we say? When was the last time u wished ".... happy...." whatever to someone u could'nt stand? Why not "..... Go to hell....."? Courtesy? i don't know, u tell me.....

Other times, do you really mean what you say, or how true or how possible are your statements? For example, is eternal happiness ever possible? Hypocritical? i don't know, u tell me.....

Then come those other situations where u say Happy New Year to every Tom Dick ad Harry you meet. Is it possible for everyone to be happy? i don't know, u tell me.....

Do you recall someone saying this to you, "Smile.... be happy.....", "Why are u smiling? Happy?", Can't we even decide when to smile anymore? Does smiling equate happiness? If so does happiness really come so cheap? i don't know! you tell me......

Many would think what this idiot down here is trying to drive across in this crazy piece of bad literature or where all this crap came from.... Well, so here's telling you, it came from nowhere, just some ridiculous thoughts. Haha...... (Does this means i'm happy? i don't know)

So what exactly is happiness? or what does being happy mean? Quote from Merriam Webster's Online Dictionary: "enjoying or characterized by well-being and contentment "Now, why do we have to impose restrictions on being happy, such as "well-being and contentment", can't we just be plain happy for no reason? can't we be happy just because we drank a cup of good coffee? Or, just winning a million dollar lottery? Are we really contented when happy?

Well, let's just say i'm not quite the happiest man on earth. (but not the saddest and NO, i'm not suicidal) And for most of the time, i can say happiness evades me pretty well. So here's wishing all of a HAPPY year ahead. Smile Be HAPPY!
